Clark Rubber took out the ‘top gong’ in franchising being named the 2006 Franchisor of the Year. Leaders in the foam, rubber and above-ground pool retail market, Clark Rubber is an iconic Aussie brand and has seen strong consistent growth under the leadership of owner and FCA Hall of Fame recipient Chris Malcolm since taking over in 1996.
Barry and Jenny Lane opened their first The Coffee Club at Springwood four years ago and opened their second outlet at Loganholme in late 2004. Their four daughters (Katrina, Suellen, Kellie and Melissa) are also involved in the business, with Kellie a partner in the Loganholme franchise.
Fernwood Women’s Health Clubs Executive Chairman Diana Williams took out the coveted 2006 Franchise Woman of the Year staving off strong competition from Gloria Jean’s Coffees Trish Russo, Mr Rentals Kerrianne Hickman and Cartridge World’s Vicki Prout.

This award was taken out by 2006 Franchisor of the Year winner Gloria Jean’s Coffees in recognition of their outstanding global expansion across twenty countries.
