Bulldog Skincare Co-Founder Simon Duffy Appointed CEO of FAB Group
FAB Group, the company behind Caci, New Zealand's largest skin and appearance franchise, has appointed global skincare entrepreneur Simon Duffy MBE as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Simon Duffy brings more than two decades of international consumer brand and beauty industry experience, having co-founded Bulldog Skincare, leading the international expansion into more than 35 countries, and selling to NYSE-listed Edgewell Personal Care. In recognition of his contribution to the beauty industry, he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
Simon joins FAB Group as the company continues to build on the success of New Zealand's leading skin and appearance business. Today, Caci has 75 clinics nationwide, with more than 400 team members in the group, and cares for more than 22,000 active members, while Beauty Distributors represents a portfolio of leading global and local skincare and beauty brands across New Zealand..
Michael Ambrose, Chair of the FAB Group Board, said Duffy's experience building a globally recognised skincare brand made him the ideal person to lead the company's next phase of growth.
"Simon has built one of the world's most successful skincare brands from the ground up. He understands brands, customers and growth, but equally importantly, he understands purpose-led businesses and the relationships that underpin them.
"What also stood out was Simon's genuine appreciation for what makes this business special. He recognises the strength of our clinic network, the trust we've built with our members and customers, and the incredible team behind our brands. The strategy remains the same; Simon's role is to help us build on the strong foundation already in place and lead the business through its next phase of growth."
Simon Duffy said joining FAB Group was a natural next step in his career, "I've spent my career building brands that help people feel confident in their skin, so joining FAB Group feels like a natural fit.
"What attracted me most wasn't just the strength of the brands, but the strength of the people behind them. There is a genuine commitment to customers, trusted relationships with clinic owners and partners, and a clear ambition for the future. I'm excited to build on that momentum alongside the team and continue growing one of New Zealand's most respected beauty businesses."
