LIQUORLAND AWARDS RECOGNISE TOP FRANCHISEES
September 2014 - Liquorland Leith Street, Dunedin franchisee Chris Hart, claimed the highly-esteemed Gold Franchisee of the Year Award at the National Liquorland Conference Gala Dinner event held at Novotel Twin Waters, Queensland, Australia
Joe Jakicevich from Hancocks, sponsor of the Gold Award, was delighted to announce, ‘That winner, Chris Hart, will receive an educational trip to Chicago, Nashville and Lynchburg that money can’t buy. Chris and his team have embraced the Liquorland customer ethos by providing their customers with an experience that reflects the unique customer base and environment that they trade in. They respect and value each and every customer and treat them to an exciting shopping experience each and every time they shop at this winning Liquorland store.’
Liquorland CEO, Rod Gibson, congratulated Liquorland Devon St, New Plymouth franchisee Amie Murphy, who was awarded Silver Franchisee of the Year. Rod says, ‘Amie continues to show her drive and professionalism in the search to be the best she can be. Her in store standards are such that she continues to grow customer counts and show the trade how good they need to be.’
The Bronze Franchisee of the Year Award went to Liquorland Waiheke Island franchisee, Leon Fredrichberg. Despite possibly the smallest of all Liquorland stores, his store has enjoyed an increase in customer growth and is known for offering his customers great service. Supporting Liquorland initiatives and growth in craft beer off the back of a new Liquorland strategy were other reasons given for this store’s success.
Joss Granger from Liquorland Howick took home the prestigious Sel Granger Memorial Award Cup for 2014. The Sel Granger Memorial Award is awarded to a store that emulates the same spirit, passion and determination to succeed as the late Sel Granger of Liquorland Howick. Joss claimed the award for demonstrating her commitment to Liquorland by becoming the face of Liquorland, investing heavily in her craft beer offer in store, running a popular wine club, being a member of the merchandise and marketing committee and the manner in which she performs as a leader at the Howick store.
The Franchisee of the Year 2014 Awards celebrate the success and hard work of Liquorland Franchisees.
